Draft — pending legal review

Cookie Notice

Last updated August 2026

This page is a placeholder drafted by the PlayerOS team to describe how the product currently works. It has not been reviewed or approved by a qualified legal adviser and must not be relied on as legal advice. It needs review and sign-off before PlayerOS is announced publicly.

We do not use tracking cookies

PlayerOS does not set advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking cookies on public pages. Because of that there is no consent banner to click through: there is nothing non-essential to consent to.

What we do store

  • Sign-in session (essential): when you sign in, your browser stores a session token so you stay logged in. Clearing it signs you out.
  • Interface preferences (essential): small values remembering dashboard layout choices.

These are strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for and do not require consent under the UK PECR rules.

How page statistics are counted

Page views, link clicks, share actions and advertising impressions are counted in aggregate on our servers without cookies and without storing a device fingerprint, so a visitor cannot be re-identified across visits.

Checkout

Our payment processor sets its own strictly necessary cookies on the checkout form to process the payment and prevent fraud. That happens only when you start a purchase.

If this changes

If PlayerOS later adds analytics or advertising technology that requires consent, a consent banner must be added and this notice updated before that technology goes live.
