Who we are

PlayerOS provides athletes with a public profile page, fan sign-up, product sales and performance reporting. In UK GDPR terms PlayerOS is the controller for platform accounts and the processor for the fan lists an athlete builds on the platform.

What we collect

• Athletes and profile managers: email address, name, sport, team and competition, profile content you publish, and the statistics and fixtures you record.
• Fans: the email address and name you submit when you opt in to an athlete's updates, plus which athlete you followed.
• Buyers: order details and the email address used at checkout. Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach PlayerOS servers.
• Usage: aggregate page views, link clicks, share events and advertising impressions/clicks. These are counted without cookies or stored device fingerprints.

Why we use it

To operate your account and public page, to deliver purchases, to report audience and earnings figures back to athletes, to calculate advertising and sponsorship revenue, and to keep the platform secure. Fan updates are sent only on the basis of the opt-in given at sign-up.

Sharing

We share data with the processors that run the product: our hosting and database provider, our payment processor, and our email delivery provider. We do not sell personal data. Advertisers and sponsors receive aggregate performance figures only, never fan or buyer contact details.

Fan lists stay separated

Each athlete's fan list is isolated to that athlete. One athlete cannot see or export another athlete's fans.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can object to processing. Fans can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email, which removes them from that athlete's list immediately. To exercise any other right, contact us using the details below.

Retention

Account and order records are kept while the account is active and for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. Fan records are deleted on unsubscribe request. Aggregate usage counts are retained without identifying individuals.
